Guillermo Garcia-Hernando Research Associate Imperial College London

I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the Imperial Computer Vision and Learning Lab, Imperial College London, advised by Dr. Tae-Kyun Kim. I'm interested in computer vision, machine learning, robotics, art and their intersection. Currently I'm working on how to teach an agent to perform manipulation actions by observing humans hands and using adversarial imitation and reinforcement learning in a project sponsored by Samsung Research.

I completed my PhD in December 2017 under the supervision of Dr. Tae-Kyun Kim at Imperial College London, in the UK. Previously, I did my master studies 'diplôme d'ingénieur' at Télécom ParisTech (France, 2013) and my undergraduate studies in 'telecommunications engineering' at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) - BarcelonaTech (Spain, 2011). In my free time I enjoy traveling, taking pictures, drawing and eating.
